PhD students are at the heart of groundbreaking discoveries. Their energy, creativity, and ambition accelerate research breakthroughs and help solve the world’s biggest challenges. 

By funding a PhD student, you enable important research to happen faster while supporting a future academic leader. Your donation makes a lasting impact on both research and the student’s career. 

You can choose to fund either:

• A full PhD scholarship for a UK student
• A full PhD scholarship for a student on international fees
• An international bursary: the difference between home and international fees for a non-UK student.

You can also choose to support a PhD scholarship in the area of research that you care the most about, or fund a Black Futures scholarship for a Black or Mixed-Black heritage student. Without funding, many talented students simply cannot pursue a PhD. 

The scholarships provide an enhanced living allowance, attracting top talent who might otherwise pursue different industry careers. With your support, we can ensure the brightest minds work on critical research programmes.
