Rob's Three Races, One Cause: Empowering Students Through The Ignite Programme.

Rob decided to fundraise for the Ignite Programme in late 2021. Student's at the time were facing bigger challenges than ever - with the Covid-19 pandemic causing disruption and a cost of living crisis in full swing, Rob wanted to do something to help young people who were impacted the worst.

In Rob's own words: "The Ignite Programme is a very worthy cause and I think it's a fantastic initiative for Southampton. I did my fundraising in late 2021, with a pandemic raging and a cost-of-living crisis, meaning support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds was more important than ever."

Rob decided to run three different races in three months to fundraise for the Ignite Programme. He ran the Southampton 10K, the Great South Run, and the Gosport Half-Marathon. He raised £341.25 for Ignite and hopes that he can inspire others to fundraise and make a difference.
