In Memory Giving
You can pay tribute and honour a loved one’s memory via our in-memory giving. This will help their legacy live on by supporting our ground-breaking Cancer Immunology research, or by helping our disadvantaged students excel at university.
Whether you’d like to make a gift in lieu of flowers, set up a funeral collection, or make a regular gift, we’re here to help you.
Setting up a tribute page is very simple - We use a platform called MuchLoved, which allows you to create a personalised paged for your loved one filled with music, videos, digital candles, and tribute gardens. If you need any help setting up a tribute page, please contact commfr@soton.ac.uk, and we will be able to support you through this process.
The Karen Ingram Foundation
Tom was only 13 when his mother died of non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He made the decision to start a foundation in her memory called the Karen Ingram Foundation. So far, he has managed to raise over £30,000 for the Centre for Cancer Immunology, all to leave a lasting legacy for his mother.
Please remember to look after yourself in times of bereavement. For help and support, please check out Southampton City Council’s useful contacts for all types of bereavement.
Leave a gift in your will
We understand that leaving a gift in your will is an important decision.
The kind commitment to leave a legacy to the University of Southampton is a hugely powerful way to support students and life changing research in years to come - giving many more talented people the chance to achieve incredible things.
